This is Trey, age 14, who was diagnosed with stage IV neuroblastoma when he was 21-months old. Trey loves playing basketball and is an avid Sixers fan. MineCraft, Harry Potter and the beach are some of this favorite things. Trey has a huge heart for the homeless. When he grows up, he wants to build a food bank with lots of houses around it. He plans on inviting homeless people to live and eat there for free. His heart is bigger than the cancer he faces.
This is Kieran, age 7, who has faced down Wilms Tumor twice! Kieran fought hard and he is now living with no evidence of disease! Kieran loves gummy bears, soccer, and is a ball of energy! Kieran would eat candy every day if he could! He enjoys sports of all kinds and is not one to be found sitting for long.
This is Dami, age 15, who was diagnosed with Astrocytoma at the age of 7. Dami is an incredible dancer, and loves to hang out with her friends. Dami is strong and positive as she overcomes the obstacles she faces on a daily basis. 2020 was memorable for many reasons, but for Dami it was a year with no brain surgeries! (she has had 10) Dami never fails to make others laugh or smile including all of us at Crush.
Travis, age 18, was diagnosed with a diffuse infiltrating glioma (inoperable brain tumor). Travis loves music, art, dogs, tie dye, cooking, the Flyers and most of all, helping other kids with cancer. Travis is passionate about making a difference for kids with cancer in every way possible. He plans to be a physician-scientist in the field of pediatric brain tumors. A recent high school graduate, Travis is taking a gap year working locally, looking forward to starting his journey towards that MD!
Julia, age 10, was diagnosed with gliofibroma, a form of brain cancer. Julia loves to dance, sing and have play dates with her friends. Julia has a contagious laugh and the power to make everybody around her happy.
This is Luca, age 13, who was diagnosed with ependymoblastoma for the first time at the age of 15 months. Luca loves to play X-box, make YouTube videos under his alter ego “Emerald King,” and play with his dog Penny. Fun fact: Luca can curl his tongue into the shape of a flower and is so addicted to bacon that if he could be any super hero he says he’d be “Bacon-Man” so he could make it rain bacon.
Michael, age 8, was diagnosed with Pre-B Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) . Mikey loves dinosaurs, soccer, Paw Patrol and the color blue. Mikey’s is in the maintenance phase of his treatment is enjoying the dream he had during treatment of “just being a normal kid.”
This is Sadie, age 7, who was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma in October of 2015. Sadie loves to sing and dance to any Disney movie. She enjoys playing with her babies, animals and playing with her big sister Callie. We heard the glorious words of “5-years with no evidence of disease” this year!!! Her treatment was successful and she is now enjoying living a life without constant medical appointments on the calendar!
Olivia, age 8, was diagnosed in January 2016 with Pre-B ALL (Leukemia). Olivia is currently in the Maintenance Phase of her treatment plan. Olivia is loving life as she enjoys soccer, swimming, fishing, exploring outside, a new puppy, and hanging out with her friends.
At age 4, Addie was diagnosed with T-cell Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Addie loves the color blue, and all things girly! She loves princesses, dressing up, and American Girl Dolls. Addie loves to sing and perform, and has a smile that can light up a room! Now in the maintenance phase of her treatment plan, Addie lights up every room she walks in!
At age 12, Hannah was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Hannah is excited to be back in school and is enjoying High School while in the maintenance phase of her treatment. She enjoys basketball, participating in school activities, and hanging out with her friends!
Madison, often referred to as Princess Madison, was diagnosed at 7 months with an optic pathway glioma. Madison wakes up smiling and goes to bed smiling. She loves to dance, wear jewelry and play dress up, and hasn’t met a lollipop that she doesn’t like. She looks for her brother all day long and is a huge fan of singing baby shark and happy birthday. Madison, now 4 years old, is battling this disease for a second time, yet that smile is still on her face every time we see her!
This is Abbie. Abbie is 9 years old and is hard at work battling stage 4 Wilms Tumor. Abbie loves to sing and dance and can be found playing Barbies and coloring when she is not outside riding her bike. Abbie has a heart for others and loves hanging out with her family.
Railyn is a fun loving 6 year old who loves to do puzzles, color and go to the beach and go do different activities. She is in the maintenance phase of ALL (Leukemia). She loves to go the aquarium and zoo, and loves arts and crafts!
Nicholas was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma at the age of 2. This brave 4 year-old navigated his rigorous treatment with a sweet smile the entire time. Nicholas is big brother to twin siblings and enjoys dancing, cooking, and playing soccer. Nicholas is currently in the maintenance phase of his treatment.
Vincent was diagnosed with ATRT, a form of brain cancer at 4 months of age. A joyous, 2 year-old little boy with incredible determination, he is fighting this disease for a second time. Along with being devoted to his older sister Mina, Vincent loves Sesame Street, music, playing outside and learning his shapes and colors. Vincent is working very hard on learning how to walk and is facing his grueling treatment with great bravery and grit!
Ryder was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma, a form of brain cancer in 2021. Ryder is currently undergoing an aggressive treatment plan designed to stop the cancer from spreading to other parts of his body. Ryder, like most 4 year-olds, enjoys Mickey Mouse, pirate ships, dinosaurs, and Sponge Bob. Ryder is big brother to Hunter and family time is a favorite way to spend his time.
